Some 3,468 jobs are to be created by 148 newly-established companies compared to 158 companies established during the previous week, stated weekly data of the Ministry of Investment.
The new companies were established during the period from 28 February to 4 March 2010, with a daily rate of 30 companies on average.
The new companies were established in fields of agriculture (6 companies), manufacturing industries (33 companies), tourism (5 companies), services (56 companies), CIT (2 companies), construction (10 companies) and multi-activities (36 companies).
The newly established companies took different legal forms; Egyptian joint stock companies (49), limited liability companies (52), joint-venture companies (13), limited partnerships (9) and individual enterprises (25).
Total issued capital of these companies is about EGP 842 million, compared to LE 330 million issued by companies established during the previous business week.
